Alice A. Hensley
NORTH BLOOMFIELD--Alice A. Hensley, 58, died Saturday, May 30, 1998, at her home of cancer.
Born Jan. 13, 1940, in Newton, Kan., she was the daughter of Lewis Leroy Humphrey and Mary Ellen (Shenik) Humphrey Velen and had lived in North Bloomfield for 26 years, coming from Orwell and California.
Mrs. Hensley was a homemaker. She married Lester Lyle Hensley on June 15, 1956.
She enjoyed collecting dolls and owl figurines, going to yard sales, traveling and playing bingo.
Survivors include her husband, three sons, Calvin of Nelsonville, and Michael and Robert, both at home; three daughters, Pamela Hensley at home, Tamara Brown of Orwell, and Tracy Beckman of Bristolville; five grandchildren, and a brother, Lewis Leroy Humphrey Jr. of Newton, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Mary Pearl Smith.
Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Trask Funeral Home, 275 E. Main St., West Farmington, with the Rev. Jim Davis officiating. Burial will be in Brownwood Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
