Charles J. Oliver
HUTCHINSON -- Charles J. Oliver, 66,
died Thursday (June 4, 1998) at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born May 14, 1932, in Newton to
Robert and Clara (Puls) Oliver. He married Nadine C. Youngberg Cadle
on April 3, 1982, at Hutchinson. She survives.
He was a Hutchinson resident for 38
years moving from Newton. He was a former employee of Eaton
Corporation and was a retired truck driver with the KTC Trucking
Company, both of Hutchinson.
He was a 1951 graduate of Newton High
School. He attended Community Church of God in Hutchinson. He was a
member of the Machinist Union and was a United States Army veteran
during the Korean War.
Other survivors include: one son,
Michael Oliver of Wichita; two daughters, Cheryl Oliver and Melanie
Cherry, both of Wichita; five step-daughters, Patti Daines, Paula
Brown, Pamela Manche, Laurie Davis and Becky Cadle, all of
Hutchinson; one sister, Roberta Oliver of Newton; one grandson; one
great-granddaughter; and 12 step-grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by his parents and one brother, Melvin Oliver.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Monday at Johnson and Sons Memorial Chapel in Hutchinson with the
Rev. Thomas R. Swain officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood
Cemetery in Newton. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday
and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Johnson and Sons Funeral Home.

donors choice in care of the funeral home.
