Zenith M. Dodson
IUKA -- Zenith M. Dodson, 92,
homemaker, died Saturday (June 6, 1998) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born March 23, 1906, in Sawyer
to Jessie W. and Cora (Britton) Holder. She married William Erwin
Dodson on April 6, 1929, at Wellington. He preceded her in death May
3, 1970.
She was a Pratt County resident most of
her life, moving to Newton four years ago. She was a member of the
Salem United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, both of
Newton.
Survivors include: two sons, LaVon
Dodson of Topeka and Merle Dodson of Bedford, Texas; one daughter,
Darlene Snyder of Wichita; six grandchildren; and 11
great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by five brothers
and four sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Iuka United Methodist Church with the Revs. Larry Groves
and Ken Keeling officiating. Burial will be in the Iuka Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at
Larrison Mortuary in Pratt.
Memorials have been established with
the Iuka United Methodist Church in care of the mortuary.
