Clinton E. Hughes
WICHITA -- Clinton E. Hughes, 78,
retired Boeing Wichita finishing shops supervisor, died Sunday (June
14, 1998). He was raised in rural Halstead.
Survivors include: wife, Jean Hughes;
one son, Rex Hughes of Golden, Colo.; three daughters, Judith Warren
of Canon City, Colo., Sharon Jette of Charlotte, N.C., Karen Dyer of
Hutchinson; two step-sons, Robert Cherry of Topeka and Ronald Cherry
of Bothell, Wash; one step-daughter, Carolyn Wagner of Dallas; one
brother, Keith Hughes of Fort Worth; and one sister, Lois Shapley of
Wichita.
He was preceded in death by his
parents, Edward and Oliver Hughes; four sisters, Viola Miller,
Mildred Regier, Helen Reffner and Eleanor Hale; and two brothers,
Harry Hughes and Gilbert Hughes.
His sisters and brothers lived in
Newton and rural Newton.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday at Midway Baptist Church. Memorials have been established
with Midway Baptist Church in care of Broadway Mortuary in Wichita.
