Mildred Louise Dickey

Mildred Louise Dickey, 84, 1200 E. Seventh, homemaker, died Tuesday (June 30, 1998) at Presbyterian Manor in Newton.

She was born May 7, 1914, in Kansas City to John Edwin Anderson and Anna (Vogman) Anderson. She married John P. Dickey on Sept. 11, 1937, in Kansas City. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Newton and Alpha Chi Omega Social Sorority.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sally Rausch of Corpus Christi, Texas and Middy Ewert of Alta Loma, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathleen Suberkrop; and two grandsons, Richard Voth and Andrew Suberkrop.


Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James W. Anderson officiating. There will be a private family burial.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with family greeting friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home.

Memorials have been established with the Arthritis Foundation and Newton Presbyterian Manor Good Samaritan Fund in care of the funeral home.
