Gertrude L. Urbin
SEDGWICK -- Gertrude L. Urbin, 91,
retired USD 262 food service cook, died Friday (July 3, 1998) at
Sedgwick.
She was born March 1, 1907, in
Sterling, Ill. She married James Urbin. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sons, Jack
Urbin of Livingston, Texas, Lewis Urbin of Phoenix, Delbert Urbin of
Park City and Jerry Urbin of Wisconsin; one daughter, Peggy Stamback
of Sedgwick; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and nine
great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10:30
a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Bentley with Richard
Simmons officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home in
Valley Center.
Memorials have been established with
the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association in care of
the funeral home.
