Marie Harder Epp
WHITEWATER -- Marie Harder Epp, 94,
homemaker, died Monday (July 6, 1998) in Whitewater.
She was born Aug. 18, 1903, in
Whitewater to Bernhard and Helene (Wiebe) Harder. She married John
Epp Jr., on April 21, 1927, in Whitewater. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Swiss Church in
Whitewater. She was a lifetime Whitewater resident.
Survivors include: three sons, Albert
Epp of Bakersfield, Calif., John Edwin Epp of Hong Kong, China and
Melvin Epp of Whitewater; five daughters, Hildegard Goossen of
Homestead, Iowa, Martha Epp of Wichita, Phebe Cressman of Scottsdale,
Pa., Frieda Epp and Justina Martin, both of Leavenworth; 17
grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Friday at Swiss Church in Whitewater with Pastors Dale Janzen and
Arnold Ensz officiating. Burial will be in the Harder Cemetery in
Whitewater.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8:30
p.m. Thursday with family greeting friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Bob
Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater.
Memorials have been established with
the Berean Womens Auxiliary and Swiss Missionary Circle in care of
the funeral home.
