Opal Margaret Biddle
Opal Margaret Biddle, 77, 1200 E.
Seventh, died Friday (Sept. 4, 1998) at Presbyterian Manor in Newton.
She was born Oct. 20, 1920, in
Pittsburg to Otis and Mary (Degasprie) Brooks. She married Rev. Roger
E. Biddle Jan. 18, 1939, in Joplin, Mo. He preceded her in death
March 27, 1988.
She was a homemaker and member of
Trinity Heights United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Rev. Mark
Biddle of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and Dr. Stephen P. Biddle of
North Newton; one brother, Raymond Brooks of Pittsburg; and two
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m.
Tuesday at Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg. Visitation will be
from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home in Newton.
