Vernon F. Blosser
Vernon F. Blosser, 73, of rural Newton,
retired farmer and interior decorator and painter, died Wednesday
(Sept. 9, 1998) at Hutchinson Hospital.
He was born Dec. 8, 1924, in Newton to
Rudolph G. and Katherine (King) Blosser. He married Alma Garber on
Nov. 23, 1947, in Harper. She survives of the home.
He was a lifetime Newton and Hesston
area resident. He was a member of the Whitestone Mennonite Church in
Hesston.
Other survivors include: one son,
Vernon D. Blosser of Wichita; two daughters, Karen White of Newton
and Joletha Horn of Hutchinson; two brothers, Melvin Blosser of
Rogers, Ark., and Virgil Blosser of Hesston; two sisters, Thelma
Loucks of Hesston and Blanche Miller of Kalona, Iowa; seven
grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by
two brothers, Ivan Blosser and Byron Blosser; two sisters, Wilma and
Hazel.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m.
Saturday at Whitestone Mennonite Church with Pastors Mike Bogard and
Louise Wideman officiating. A private burial service will be at the
Eastlawn Cemetery near Hesston.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m.
Friday at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston.

Mennonite Disaster Service and American Lung Association in care of
the funeral home.
