Betty J. Meurisse
HUTCHINSON -- Betty J. Meurisse, 57,
died Sunday (Sept. 13, 1998) at Halstead Hospital.
She was born Dec. 15, 1940, at home in
Murdock to Charlie Oscar and Alta Lorraine (McAlister) Wolfe. Her
mother survives of Kingman. She married Dale Meurisse on April 24,
1993. He survives.
She lived in Hutchinson for the past
seven years. She had worked in retail sales and most recently at
Wal-mart.
Other survivors include: one son, Wade
Gillen of Hutchinson; one daughter, Carla Morris of Newton; three
sisters, Bernice Yarberry of Friendswood, Texas, Clarice Williams of
Turon and Linda Madzey of Garden Plain; and two grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, Charles Wolfe and
Michael Dean Wolfe; and one sister, Viroqua Wolfe.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m.
Wednesday at Johnson and Son Memorial Chapel in Hutchinson with
Father James R. O'Shea and Chaplin Tim Lytle officiating. Burial will
be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Calvery Cemetery in Brookville.
Memorials have been established with
American Cancer Society in care of Johnson and Sons Funeral Home in
Hutchinson.
