Willis 'Gene' Dillman
CULBERTSON, Mont. -- Willis "Gene"
Dillman, 68, died Aug. 31, 1998, at Roosevelt Memorial Hospital in
Culbertson, Mont.
He was born Dec. 4, 1929, on a farm
near Hesston to Dearmin and Sylvia (Wenger) Dillman.
He was a 1947 graduate of Newton High
School, a 1951 graduate of Southwestern College in Winfield and
received his masters degree from California State University in San
Francisco. He served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1954. He was a
teacher and administrator for 37 years, serving schools at Fairfield,
Calif., and Whitehall and Culbertson, Mont.
Survivors include: his wife, Shirley
Dillman; two sons, Mike Dillman and Steve Dillman, both of Fairfield,
Calif.; one daughter, Deborah Norgaard of Oakley, Calif.; two
brothers, Jim Dillman of Emporia and Tom Dillman of Wichita; two
sisters, Marjorie Craig of Hutchinson and Bev Gerding of Palm Beach
Gardens, Fla.; three step-children; three grandchildren; and two
step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two
brothers, Keith Dillman and Bob Dillman.
Funeral services were Sept. 4, 1998, in
Culbertson, Mont.
