Marlene M. Fulkerson
Marlene M. Fulkerson, 67, 21 Duncan
Lane, homemaker, died Thursday (Sept. 24, 1998) at Kansas Christian
Home.
She was born March 14, 1931, in Trego
County to Samuel H. Jr. and Mollie (Kuppetz) Glass. She married
Robert L. Fulkerson Oct. 13, 1956, at St. Marks Lutheran Church in
Great Bend. He survives of Newton.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran
Church in Newton. She attended school in Trego County and was a
graduate of Ellis High School in Ellis and Brown Mackey Business
School in Salina.
Other survivors include: one son, Mark
J. Fulkerson of Newton; six aunts, Elizabeth Elias of La Crosse,
Tillie Gerber, Minnie Kennedy and Anna Kuppetz, all of Ellis, Lucille
Keller of Hays and Marie Solomon of Newton; and one grandson, Justin
Fulkerson of Newton. She was preceded in death by her parents and one
brother, Myron Glass.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m.
Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Newton with the Rev. Ronald Gloe
officiating. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at
Mount Hope Cemetery in Ellis. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m.
Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Petersen Funeral Home. Friends
also may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Wasinger Funeral Chapel in
Ellis.
Memorials have been established with
Zion Lutheran Church, Central Homecare and Hospice and Muscular
Dystrophy Association in care of the funeral home.
