Herman B. Regier
Herman B. Regier, 80, 4624 N.E. 12th,
farmer and stockman, died Sunday (Sept. 27, 1998) at Columbia Wesley
Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 3, 1917, in Newton to
Ben C. and Agatha (Andres) Regier. He married Elsie Harder May 17,
1945, in Whitewater. She survives of Newton.
He was a member of First Mennonite
Church in Newton. He enjoyed rebuilding antique cars.
Other survivors include: one son, James
Regier of Derby; one daughter, Karen Frans of Newton; one brother,
Edwin Regier of Newton; two sisters, Clara Schmidt of Goessel and
Anna Harder of Whitewater; six grandchildren; and one
great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday at First Mennonite Church with the Revs. Clarence Rempel and
Rusty Bonham officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday at Petersen Funeral Home.
