Frieda V. Pauls

MOUNDRIDGE -- Frieda V. Pauls, 84, homemaker, died Monday (Sept. 28, 1998) at Memorial Home in Moundridge.

She was born Feb. 2, 1914, in Harvey County to Jacob B. and Marie (Friesen) Stucky. She married John M. Pauls Dec. 2, 1938, in Moundridge. He preceded her in death Dec. 24, 1989.

She was a lifetime Moundridge area resident. She was a member of First Mennonite Church of Christian.

Survivors include: two daughters, Theora Schroeder of Denver and Marjorie Bradbury of Wichita; three brothers, Harold Stucky of Hutchinson, Eldo Stucky of Newton and Albert Stucky of Texas; four sisters, Nahida Miller of Newton, Amanda Nightingale of Halstead, Esther Wagner of Hutchinson and Linda Evans of Portland, Ore.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by one son, Roger Pauls.

Graveside services will be at 10:15 a.m. Thursday at First Mennonite Church Cemetery followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at First Mennonite Church of Christian.

Memorials have been established with Memorial Home in care of Harder-Kaufman Funeral Home in Moundridge.
