Bernice Victoria Lambert
HESSTON -- Bernice Victoria Lambert,
83, homemaker, died Saturday (Oct. 10, 1998) at Schowalter Villa in
Hesston.
She was born Oct. 19, 1914, in Marion
to Conrad C. and Martha (Propp) Stenzel. She married Harold C.
Lambert May 16, 1937, in Marion. He preceded her in death in 1983.
Her husband was a Methodist minister
and they lived at various places in Texas and Kansas. She moved to
Hesston in 1982. She was a member of the Hesston United Methodist
Church.
Survivors include: one daughter,
Rebecca Creech of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Dorothea Ekrut of
Hesston; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She also
was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and one daughter,
Barbara Goetzinger.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m.
Tuesday in the Marion Cemetery with the Rev. Ronald Rich officiating.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home in
Hesston.
