Louise J. Wiggers
MOUNDRIDGE -- Louise J. Wiggers, 82,
died Wednesday (Oct. 14, 1998) at Moundridge Manor in Moundridge.
She was born Jan. 14, 1916, in Inola,
Okla., to Abraham and Maria (Krause) Thiesen. She married Earl
Wiggers Jan. 1, 1938, in Hesston. He survives of Moundridge.
She grew up in the Cordell and Bessie,
Okla., area. They lived in the Hesston area until moving to
Moundridge in September 1997. She was a homemaker, a housekeeper in
various homes and was a cook for about 10 years at Hesston Elementary
School.
She was a member of the Meridian Church
of God in Christ Mennonite near Hesston.
Other survivors include: two sons,
Melbert Wiggers of Hesston and Verlin "Bob" Wiggers of
Osceola, S.D.; one daughter, Luerla Wenger of Burrton; 13
grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by one brother, two half-brothers and two half-sisters.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m.
Sunday at Church of God in Christ Mennonite with Ministers Shawn
Giesel and Eldon Wenger officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Miller
Funeral Home in Hesston.
Memorials have been established with
Moundridge Manor in care of the funeral home.
