Frank L. Penner
HESSTON -- Frank L. Penner, 99, died
Monday (Oct. 26, 1998) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
He was born April 5, 1899, in Inman to
David F. and Maria (Lohrentz) Penner. He married Bertha Gaeddert
March 18, 1928, in Inman. She survives of Hesston.
He was an Inman resident until moving
to Newton in 1960 and then to Hesston in 1982. He was a farmer and
was a member of the Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church near Inman.
Other survivors include: one son,
Milferd Penner of Inman; two daughters, Marvella Ratzlaff of
Moundridge and Rachel Schmidt of Lawrence; 12 grandchildren; and 18
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two
sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m.
Wednesday at the Hoffnungsau Mennonite Church near Inman with the
Rev. Dean Linsenmeyer officiating. Burial will be in the Hoffnungsau
Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the
church.
