Howard B. Long
WICHITA -- Howard B. Long, 53, retired
roofer, died Thursday (Nov. 12, 1998) at his residence in Wichita.
He was born Oct. 4, 1945, in Newton to
Lawrence and Cleo (Slate) Long. They survive of Newton.
He attended the Mission Church in
Wichita. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era.
Other survivors include: two brothers,
Richard Long of Newton and Larry Long of Rutland, Vt.; and one
sister, Ava Hye of Wichita.
Funeral services and burial of ashes
will be at a later time.
Memorials have been established with
American Cancer Society in care of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in
Newton.
