Arthur A. Stucky
Arthur A. Stucky, 84, of Newton,
retired farmer, died Wednesday (Nov. 25, 1998) at Presbyterian Manor
in Newton.
He was born July 30, 1914, in rural
Moundridge to John D. and O' Tillie (Schrag) Stucky. He married Marie
Graber July 21, 1946. She preceded him in death August 1956. He
married Norma Radenberg Nov. 10, 1957, in Claflin. She survives of
Newton.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War
II. He had a been a Newton resident for five years, moving from rural
Moundridge. He attended Liberty Grade School, Hesston Academy and
Moundridge High School. He was a member of the United Methodist
Church in Moundridge.
Other survivors include: four brothers,
Melvin Stucky and Leroy Stucky, both of Newton, Oliver Stucky of
Moundridge and Roland Stucky of Wawona, Calif.; and two sisters,
Agnes Stucky of Moundridge and Betty Ingram of Seattle, Wash. He also
was preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer Stucky and Reuben
Stucky; and two sisters, Alida Bartel and Dorothy Bartel.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday at United Methodist Church in Moundridge with Pastor Jeanine
Rishel officiating. Burial will be in the Hesston City Cemetery.
Friends may call until 8 p.m. today with family greeting friends from
6 to 8 p.m. today at Harder-Kaufman Funeral Home in Moundridge.
Memorials have been established with
United Methodist Church or donor's choice in care of the funeral
home.
