Lorenzo Carrion
PAHRUMP, Nev. -- Lorenzo Carrion, 65,
formerly of Newton, motel manager, died Wednesday (Dec. 9, 1998) in
Las Vegas.
He was born Aug. 10, 1933, in Newton to
Ramiro and Elaria (Arellano) Carrion. His mother survives of Newton.
He married Mary Gilmore. She survives of Las Vegas.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine
Corps where he received a purple heart in the Korean War.
Other survivors include: one daughter,
Tara Carrion of California; one son, Joseph Carrion of California;
two step-sons, Daniel Gilmore and Denny Gilmore; three brothers,
Louis Carrion and Angel Carrion, both of Newton, and Reuben Carrion
of Pahrump, Nev.; two sisters, Anita Gaucin of Las Vegas, and
Beatrice Moreno of Chicago; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by his father, Ramiro Carrion.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Tuesday in Pahrump, Nev.
