Esther A. Loewe
Esther A. Loewe, 89, 115 W. Ninth,
homemaker, died Monday (Dec. 14, 1998) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 17, 1909, in West
Point, Neb., to Carl and Anna (Leimer) Schriever. She married George
Loewe Aug. 14, 1932, in Beemer, Neb. He preceded her in death Nov.
11, 1998.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran
Church in Newton. She lived in Newton since 1936, and moved to 115 W.
Ninth in 1992.
Survivors include: two daughters,
Phyllis Hillesheim of Palatine, Ill., and Alice Loewe of Laredo,
Texas; one brother, John Schriever of Lincoln, Neb.; one sister,
Velma Feyerherm of West Point, Neb.; four grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by one daughter,
Marilyn Loewe; two brothers, August Schriever and Paul Schriever; and
one sister, Ruth Vemis.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday at Zion Lutheran Church with Pastor Ronald Gloe officiating.
Burial will be in the Restlawn Garden's of Memory in Newton. Friends
may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday with family greeting friends from 7
to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home.
