Donna R. Huckabay
Donna R. Huckabay, 65, 1811 Old Main,
of Newton, former employee of Tri Valley Cannery in Modesto, Calif.,
died Sunday (Dec. 20, 1998) at Newton Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 3, 1933, in St. Clair
County, Mo., to Ralph and Zula (Carroll) Medearis. Her mother
survives of Empire, Calif. She married Ray Huckabay June 1950, in
Empire, Calif.
She was a member of Assembly of God
Church in Modesto, Calif. She lived in Modesto most all of her life,
moving to Newton in December 1997.
Other survivors include: two daughters,
Sherri Apaydin of Newton and Toni Kleefman of Austin, Texas; one
brother, Ronald Medearis of Miwuk Village, Calif.; two sisters, Lorne
Lee Goldsberry of Donna, Texas, and Jo Medearis of Empire, Calif.;
two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her father.
Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery
in Wichita.

Renal Care Group in Newton in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
