Raymond E. Voth

Raymond E. Voth, 53, 1428 N. Rock Rd., of Newton, a welder for Full Vision for 16 years and employee for the water department for the city of Newton for 10 years, died today (Dec. 22, 1998) at Newton Medical Center.

He was born July 21, 1945, in Newton to Irvin and Wilhelmina (Koehn) Voth. His father survives of Walton. He married Sherry Williams May 23, 1967, in Newton. She survives of Newton.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Other survivors include: two sons, Chad Voth of Winfield and Kyle Voth of Manhattan; three brothers, Don Voth and Ken Voth, both of Newton and Allen Voth of Denver; one sister, Arlene Carter of Newton; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Graveside services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Walton Cemetery with Chaplin Louise MacClanahan from Newton Medical Center officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Petersen Funeral Home.

Memorials have been established with American Kidney Foundation and American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
