Penny S. Workman

Penny S. Workman, 36, 212 Windward Court, died Friday (Jan. 22, 1999) at Newton Medical Center. She was born Sept. 11, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, to Paul and Hazel L. (Burwell) Workman. They survive of Newton. She attended Northview Community Activity Center. Other survivors include one sister, Alice Morris of Peabody; one nephew, Thomas Morris of Peabody, and one niece, Rebecca Morris of Peabody. She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Perry Workman; and maternal grandmother, Alice O. Burwell. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Morgan from First Church of the Nazarene in Newton officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from until 9 p.m. today at Petersen Funeral Home. Memorials have been established with Special Olympics of Harvey County in care of the funeral home.
