L. Pauline White

L. Pauline White, 85, 300 W. Fifth, Apt. 4E, homemaker, died Thursday (Jan. 28, 1999) at Newton Medical Center. She was born Jan. 10, 1914, in Horton to Lora P. and Bessie E. (Hutchinson) Milburn. She married Francis Willard White Dec. 16, 1934, in Newton. He preceded her in death Aug. 28, 1968. She was a member of First Christian Church in Newton. Survivors include: two sons, James White of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Russ K. White of Plano, Texas; one daughter, Patsy A. Gaiser of Newton; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one step-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. MyCherie Zimmerman from First Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Restlawn Gardens of Memory. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday with family greeting friends from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials have been established with Kansas Christian Home and First Christian Church Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
