WHITEWATER -- Mikayla Joy Penner, one month, of rural Whitewater, died Friday (Jan. 29, 1999, at her home. She was born Dec. 24, 1998, at Newton Medical Center to Ken and Jeanne Penner. They survive. Other survivors include: one brother, Michael Penner of the home; paternal grandparents, Walter and Evelyn Penner of Whitewater; and paternal great-grandparent, Frieda Penner of Whitewater. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Emmaus Mennonite Church in rural Whitewater. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lamb-Nutter Mortuary in Whitewater. Memorials have been established with Heartland Pregnancy Care Center or Berean Academy in care of the funeral home.
