Beth C. Seyfried

Beth C. Seyfried, 74, of rural Newton, homemaker, died Monday (Feb. 1, 1999) at Bethesda Home in Goessel. She was born April 16, 1924, in Courtland to Clarence and Marion (Muirhead) Hague. On Nov. 28, 1952, she married Francis Seyfried in Las Vegas. He survives of rural Newton. She grew up in Newton and graduated from Newton High School. She and her husband lived in Oceanside, Calif., until moving back to Newton five years ago. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Newton. Other survivors include: one daughter, Sandra Miller of rural Newton; one brother, Allan Hague of Newton; one sister, Ann Ratzlaff of Halstead; and one grandson. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Peace Lutheran Church in Newton with the Rev. Larry Frank officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel.Memorials have been established with Peace Lutheran Church or S.C.C.S. Home Health and Hospice in care of the funeral home.
