Ruth Alice Trumble
Ruth Alice Trumble, 55, homemaker and waitress, died
Wednesday (Feb. 3, 1999) at her home in Newton.

She was born Jan. 15, 1944, in
McPherson to Abraham G. and Sarah (Willems) Fast. She married
Lawrence G. Trumble Jr., Sept. 24, 1975, in Manhattan. He survives
of Newton. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic
Church in Newton. Other survivors include: one son, Jerry Trumble
of Duncan, Okla.,; two daughters, Regina (Trumble) Dominguez and
Shauna Trumble, both of Newton; one brother, Heinrich A. "Hank"
Fast of Yucapia, Calif.; four sisters, Esther Schroeder, Bertha
Flinn, Sarah Jane "Janie" Carroll and Rosalie "Rosie"
Gomez, all of Newton; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by her parents; one brother, Abraham G. Fast Jr.; and two
sisters, Lillian Anna Kelly and Wanda Lee Kasper. Rosary service
will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday also at the church with
Father John Hotze officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's
Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today, 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Broadway Colonial
Funeral Home. Memorials have been established with American
Diabetes Association or American Heart Association in care of the
funeral home.
