Albert H. Soller

Albert H. Soller, 94, 224 S.W. Seventh, retired switchman for Santa Fe Railroad, died Thursday (Feb. 11, 1999) at Newton Medical Center. He was born June 3, 1904, in Winkler to Henry C. and Caroline (Strauss) Soller. He married Lorene T. Byrne May 5, 1928, in Florence. She preceded him in death Oct. 22, 1974. Survivors include: two sons, Robert Soller of Baltimore, Md., and Ronald Soller of Newton; one sister, Sophia Rush of Florence; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence with the Rev. Steve Thaden officiating. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home.
