Esther Elaine Rempel

HILLSBORO -- Esther Elaine Rempel, 74, former high school teacher and employee in the dietary department at Parkside Homes, died Saturday (Feb. 20, 1999) at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus. She was born March 1, 1924, in Newton to John G. and Mathilda (Ratzlaff) Rempel. She is survived by cousins and friends. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro with the Rev. Keith Harder officiating. Burial will be in the French Creek Cemetery in rural Hillsboro. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel in Hillsboro. Memorials have been established with First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro in care of the funeral home.
