Kathrine Wiley
HALSTEAD -- Kathrine Wiley, 76,
station manager for Universal Motor Fuel Products, died
Saturday (Feb. 27, 1999) at Presbyterian Manor in Newton. She was
born March 14, 1922, in Marshall, Mo., to Jake and Rosie (Avery)
Hellinger. She married Oscar William Wiley May 21, 1939, in Wagoner,
Okla. He preceded her in death June 2, 1988. She was a member of
Halstead Baptist Church. She was a Halstead resident since 1986.
Survivors include: three sons, Eugene Wiley of Henderson, Nev., and David
Wiley and Ed Wiley, both of Wichita; foster daughters, Flo Ella
Hopkins of Widefield, Colo., and Lauwana Graham of Wichita; one
brother, Paul Hellinger of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; two sisters, Dorothy
Cobb of Wagoner, Okla., and Rosie Payton of Iron Station, N.C.; 17
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She also was preceded
in death by four brothers, Andy Hellinger, Jesse Hellinger, Russell
Hellinger and Jake Hellinger. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m.
Tuesday at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead with the Rev. Charles
Kaufman officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pioneer
Cemetery in Wagoner, Okla. Friends may call until 8 p.m. today at
Kaufman Funeral Home. Memorials have been established with American
Diabetes Association in care of the funeral home.
