Bernice Emma Gale
FURLEY -- Bernice Emma Gale, 85, rural
Valley Center, homemaker, died Sunday (March 7, 1999) at Newton.
She was born Dec. 19, 1913, in Wichita
to Russell and Ruth (Patterson) Ransome. She married Ray Gale Nov.
14, 1935, in Furley. He preceded her in death.
She was a lifetime rural Furley
resident.
Survivors include one son, Larry Gale
of Great Bend; one brother, Earl Ransome of Wichita; and two
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m.
Tuesday at Furley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed Friesen
officiating. Burial will be in the Green Valley Cemetery in rural
Furley.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today
at Bob Lamb Funeral Chapel in Whitewater.
Memorials have been established with
Furley United Methodist Church or Wheat State Manor in Whitewater in
care of the funeral home.
