Daniel Paul Trail
Daniel Paul Trail, 18, 1601 E. 11th,
senior at Newton High School and employed at Casey's in Newton, died
Sunday (March 7, 1999) in Newton.
He was born Nov. 29, 1980, in Atwood to
Kenneth and Pat (Briscoe) Trail.
He was president of DECA. He enjoyed
fishing, camping, his stereo equipment and listening to music.
Survivors include: mother, Pat Trail of
Newton; father and step-mother, Kenneth and Patti Trail of
Sacramento, Calif.; one brother, Kenneth Brian Trail of Ft. Campbell,
Ky.; paternal grandparents, Farrell and Jackie Grogg of Newton;
maternal grandmother, Judy Flanagan of Phoenix; and fiancee, Stacey
Arellano of Newton. They were expecting a son and the family has
decided to name him, Daniel Kyle Trail.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. Kent Rogers
of Salem United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in
Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and from 9
a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
