Lucy E. DuBois, 97, passed away February 21, 2014 at Presbyterian Manor in Newton. She ws born March 15, 1916 in Newton to Percy and Sylvia Goodrich Whiteman. She received her bachelor's degree from Kansas State University. On June 1, 1939 she was united iin marriage to Allen A. DuBois. She was a wife and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen A. DuBois; 3 infant sons and son-in-law, Frank Morse. She is survived by her children; Louetta Morse, Sedgwick and Boyd DuBois and wife, Joyce of Valley Center;; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at Furley United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Feb 25, 2014. Interment will be in the Whitewater Cemetery.
