Emma Irene McCart Arnett

HALSTEAD -- Emma Irene McCart Arnett, 76, retired clerk at Halstead Hospital business office, died Saturday (March 13, 1999) at Presbyterian Manor in Newton.


She was born Aug. 20, 1922, in Shallow Water to Earl and Emma (Tibbets) Bush. She married Harlan R. McCart Dec. 5, 1948, in Hutchinson. He preceded her in death October 1982. She married Boyce Hayden Arnett Aug. 29, 1987, in Halstead. He also preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1993.

She had been a Halstead resident since 1961.

Survivors include: four sons, Robert McCart, Charles McCart and Ken McCart, all of Halstead and Lee McCart of Edmond, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead with Pastor Roger Ericksten officiating. Burial will be in the Star Cemetery in rural Burrton.

Memorials have been established with Donors choice in care of Kaufman Funeral Home in Halstead.
