Marie Wilmina Klingenberg
PEABODY -- Marie Wilmina Klingenberg,
85, homemaker, died Saturday (March 13, 1999) at Newton Medical
Center.
She was born Sept. 16, 1913, in rural
Elbing to Bernhard and Elizabeth (Penner) Regier. She married Willie
Klingenberg April 14, 1936, in Elbing. He survives.
Other survivors include: two sons,
Victor Klingenberg of Bentonville, Ark., and Vernon Klingenberg of
Peabody; two daughters, Esther Schrag of McPherson and Mary Janzen of
North Newton; two brothers, Robert Regier of Newton and Walter Regier
of North Newton; two sisters, Martha Quenzer of Fresno, Calif., and
Edith Wedel of Newton; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;
and four step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Thursday at Zion Mennonite Church in Elbing with Pastor Floyd Born
officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.
Wednesday at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody.
Memorials have been established with
Zion Mennonite Church Building Fund and Mennonite Central Committee
in care of the funeral home.
