Dorine Z. Robinson
Dorine Z. Robinson, 79, 405 S.W. Third,
died Sunday (April 11, 1999) at Halstead Hospital.
She was born May 14, 1919, in
Gainsville, Mo., to V.V. and Lillie Coy. She married Clifton E.
Robinson May 9, 1937, at Church of Christ in Gainsville, Mo.
She worked 15 years as a caregiver for
Northview. She also worked for the state doing one -on-one care and
respite care for handicapped kids. She did babysitting for many
children and later their children.
Survivors include: one son, Ronald
Robinson of Newton; one brother, William D. Coy of Everett, Wash.;
one sister, Betty J. Coy of Newton; foster daughter, Jeannie Newman
of Missouri; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Guy Coy.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Friday at Church of Christ in Newton with Minister Ed Lee from Church
of Christ in Kearney, Neb., officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn
Gardens of Memory in Newton.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at Petersen Funeral Home.
Memorials have been established with
Maude Carpenter Children's Home in care of the funeral home.
