Tom Cole, 84, died Wednesday, January 15, 20114 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita. He was botn May 1, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to Joohn and Zou Cole. On October 2, 1964 he married Mary Lewis in Newton and she survives of the home.
Tom was a retired street department employee for the city of Newton. He was a faithful member of the First Church of God in Newton, whjere he served the church in various capacities. He liked to spend time with his coffee group and he enjoyed collecting hats, caps and pens.
Survivors; Wife, Mary of the home; daughters, Joyce (Kevin) Roach and Marsha (Gene), all of Newton; sister, Darlene Elam, Wichita; 4 grandchildren.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Cole and brother, Calvin Cole.
Services will be January 21 at First Church of God in Newton. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
