Minnie "Martha" Meney, 93, died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at the Kansas Christian Home in Newton. She was born Auust 27, 1920 in Pretty Prairie, the daughter of Henry and Anna Schrag Ratzlaff. She was a missionary to India and Kenya for 37 years. She married Benjamin F. Meney on January 24, 1998. He preceded her in death. After she married she resided in Kentucky for 10 years before she relocated to Newton.
After her retirement from the Missiion she taught at Emmanuell Bible Camp in Kentucky and also taught weekday Bible school in Kentucky and in Newton. She had been attending the Newton Bible Church in Newton.
Preceding her in death were her parents, spouse; brothers, Arnold, Irvin and Hary and sisters, Wilma Wahlstedt and Esther Haarms.
Survivors: step sons, Benjamin Meney Jr; George Meney and Tim Meney; step-daughters, Martha Jean Heineman and Priscilla Meney . Graveside services will be January 30, 2014 at Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, Kansas
