Harley R. Sigman
Harley R. Sigman, 63, 1209 Columbus
St., retired route salesman for Guys Foods, died Wednesday (April 21,
1999) at Newton Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 21, 1935, in Idaho
Falls, Idaho, to Russel James and Melba (Lloyd) Sigman. He married
Gloria A. Allen July 24, 1980, in Elk City, Okla. She survives of
Newton.
He was a graduate of Pocatello High
School in Pocatello, Idaho. He was a Vietnam veteran in the Navy for
four years where he served as a dental technician. He had lived in
Newton since 1989.
Other survivors include: one son, Kirk
Sigman of Elk City, Okla.; two daughters, Shelina Sigman of Elk City,
Okla., and Darla Kirkland of Amarillo, Texas; one brother, Larry
Sigman of Kent, Wash.; two sisters, Nadine Connor of Boise, Idaho,
and Donna Mayhew of Phoenix; two step-sons, Randy Allen of Mustang,
Okla., and Steve Allen of El City, Okla.; one step-brother, Ron
McNurlen of Kent, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; and three
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one
step-son, Jay.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Saturday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Arnold Ensz from
Swiss Church in Whitewater officiating. Burial will be in the
Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at the
funeral home.
Memorials have been established with
Central Homecare and Hospice in care of the funeral home.
