Vergie Grace (Unruh) Isaac, 72, retired
AT&T telephone operator and volunteer for Hospice, Red Cross,
Source of Light and Et Cetera Shop, died Wednesday (April 21, 1999)
at her home in Newton.
She was born June 7, 1926, in Galva to
Albert P. and Clara (Koehn) Unruh.
She was a Newton resident for more than
51 years, formerly of McPherson. She had 12 years of education.
She was a member of Newton Bible
Church.
Survivors include: one son, Mark Isaac
of Springtown, Texas; two daughters, Nikki Dochow of Haysville and
Cheryl Lettau of Newton; one sister, Estelle Regier of Galva; five
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death
by two sisters, Lenora Koehn and LaWanda King.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Newton Bible Church in Newton. Burial will be in the Lone
Tree Cemetery in rural Galva. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today
at Harder Kaufman Funeral Home in Moundridge.
Memorials have been established with
Newton Bible Church or Newton Bible Christian School in care of the
funeral home.
