Daniel Ray Hopkins
TOPEKA -- Daniel Ray Hopkins, 30,
former Whitewater, Potwin and Burns resident, self-employed, died
Monday (April 26, 1999) at Lansing.
He was born April 3, 1969, in Newton to
Darrell and Donna (Nonken) Hopkins. His father survives of Goessel
and his mother, Donna Slatten, survives of Collins, Mo. He married
Donna Newell Nov. 1, 1997, in Lansing. She survives of Topeka.
Other survivors include: one daughter,
Brittany Anne Hopkins of Topeka; two brothers, Darren Robert Hopkins
of Levelland, Texas, and Darrek Eugene Hopkins of Newton; one
step-brother, John Slatten of Collins, Mo.; three step-sisters, Kathy
Stark of Wichita, Samantha Slatten of Collins, Mo., and Hope Minter
of Texline, Texas; and maternal grandparents, Vernon and Darleen
Nonken of Burns.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m.
Friday at Bob Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater. Burial will be in the
Whitewater Center Church Cemetery in Burns.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8:30
p.m. Thursday with family greeting friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Thursday at the funeral home.

Northview Developmental Services Inc., in Newton, in care of the
funeral home.
