Oscar D. Grover

Oscar D. Grover, 89, died Friday (April 30, 1999) at Newton Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 8, 1909, near Murrowville. He worked as a minister and a teacher and moved to Newton Presbyterian Manor from Beloit in 1977. He was a member of Newton Christian Church.

He is survived by three sons, Delbert Grover of St. Ann, Mo., Ron Grover of Knoxville, Tenn., and Robert Grover of Poway, Calif.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and until service time at 2 p.m. Monday at McDonald Funeral Home, 910 N. Campbell in Beloit. Pastor Rick Grover will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Beloit. Memorials may be sent to Manhattan Christian College.
