Shane E. Million
SALINA -- Shane E. Million, 26, of
Salina, machine operator with Exide Corp., died Monday (May 3, 1999)
in Salina.
He was born Aug. 7, 1972, in Loma
Linda, Calif., to Jay Dean Million and Donna (Uselton) Wolfersberger.
He was a member of Newton Christian
Church. He moved to Newton in August 1983. He attended Suncrest
Elementary and Santa Fe Middle School and graduated from Newton High
School in 1990. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1990 to 1991. He was
a competitive chess player and automotive sound technician. He loved
fishing, golfing, pool and bowling. He was a former manager of Mr.
Goodcents in Salina.
Survivors include: a son, Chase Taylor
Million of Salina; mother and step-father, Donna and Phil
Wolfersberger of Newton; father and step-mother, Jay and Margaret
Million of Reedsport, Oreg.; three brothers, John Million of Newton,
Jason Million of Wichita, and James Cozart of San Bernardino, Calif.;
two half-brothers, Marshall Million and Cameron Million of Reedsport,
Oreg.; a step-brother, Cory Wolfersberger of Sacramento, Calif.; four
step-sisters, Deborah Melcher of Sacramento, Calif., Suzanne Gruwell
of Bishop Calif., and Andrea Terwilliger and Sheila Wood, both of
Yucaipa, Calif.; and a step-great-grandmother, Olive Wolfersberger of
Phoenix.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday
at Newton Christian Church with Pastor Bill Fair of the church
presiding. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be
from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in
Newton.
