Loretta Gonzalez Moreno
FORT WORTH, Texas -- Loretta Gonzalez
Moreno, 65, formerly of Newton, died Tuesday (May 4, 1999) at
Osteopathic Hospital in Forth Worth, Texas.
She was born Dec. 10, 1933, in Newton
to Jose and Hilaria Gonzalez. She married Leonardo Moreno Jr. Sept.
26, 1959, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Newton. He
survives of the home.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church
in Fort Worth. She attended the former Lincoln Grade School, Santa Fe
Junior High School and Newton High School. She was a former employee
of the Ripley Hotel. She lived in El Paso, Texas, Omaha, Neb., Newton
and Fort Worth while her husband was in military service. They lived
since 1966 in Fort Worth.
Other survivors include: a son, Jose
Leonardo Moreno of the home; two daughters, Monica Wilson and Vanessa
Morales, both of Fort Worth; seven brothers, Carmen Gonzalez, Jose
Socorro Gonzalez, Doroteo Gonzalez, Raymond Gonzalez, Reynaldo
Gonzalez and Juan Gonzalez, all of Newton; three sisters, Angelina
Chapa of Dallas and Genevieve (Josie) Victorio and Maria Ana Domme,
both of Newton; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her
parents, one daughter, Ofelia Moreno, and one brother, Antonio
Gonzalez.
Rosary services will be 7 p.m. Friday
at Laurie Land Mortuary in Fort Worth. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m.
Saturday at Sacred Heart Church in Fort Worth. Burial will be at
Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth.
