Lena M. Ruddick
HESSTON -- Lena M. Ruddick, 92, died
Thursday (May 6, 1999) at Halstead Hospital in Halstead.
She was born Dec. 12, 1906, in
McPherson to Fred and Barbara Miller Luddick.
She worked as a senior nurse's aide at
St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita, retiring in 1960 and moving to
Hesston. She married Lloyd B. Nickl in June 1923 in McPherson. She
married Charles Ruddick in 1941 in Aurora, Mo. He died in 1957.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara
Jean Ford of Hesston; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren;
and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three
sisters.
There will be no services, and
cremation rites have been accorded. Buhler Mortuary is in charge of
arrangements.
