John M. Rodriguez
HALSTEAD -- John M. Rodriguez, 80,
retired housekeeper at Halstead Hospital, died Saturday (May 8, 1999)
at his home in Halstead.
He was born Jan. 15, 1919, in Deerfield
to Feliciano and Josephine Rodriguez. He married Felonis Ortega
October 1945, in Santa Barbara, Calif. She preceded him in death Oct.
13, 1991.
He was a member of Halstead Baptist
Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include: one son, John
Rodriguez Jr., of Los Fresnos, Texas; one daughter, Linda Mull of
Newton; one brother, Jesus "Jesse" Aguilera of Garden City;
one sister, Lupe Alcaraz of Dodge City; and one grandchild. He also
was preceded in death by two brothers, Hank Rodriguez and Frankie
Aguilera; and one sister, Doris Aguilera.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Wednesday at Halstead Baptist Church with Pastor Roger Ericksten
officiating. Burial will be in the Halstead Cemetery.
Memorials have been established with
American Heart Association in care of Kaufman Funeral Home in
Halstead.
