Bonnie Jean Vetter, 83, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover. She was born November 16, 1930 in Whitewater, the daughter of William Oscar and Sylvia Eva Harman. She was raised in the Whitewater area where she graduated from Whitewater High Schooll.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Maurice E. "Moe" Vetter on June 30, 1949 at St. Mary's Cathholic Church in Newton. They made their home in Newton. He died on September 21, 2002. Bonnie had been an accountant for many years, working at the Boise Cascade Lumberyard for several years.
Bonnie attended St Mary's Catholic Church and continued to live in Newton until two years ago when she was moved to a nursing hhome.
Survivors: son,Kenneth Vetter (Donna) of ElDorado; daughter, Helen England (Tim) of Jenks, Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; daughter, Linda Henry; grandson, Travis Brittingham and brothers, Vernice and Marvin Church.
Graveside and inurnment service will be April 2 at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Newton.
