Jennie M. Krehbiel
HESSTON -- Jennie M. Krehbiel, 94, died
Monday (May 17, 1999) at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
She was born Feb. 25, 1905, in Ruff,
Wash., to John C. and Susie (Kaufman) Jantz. She married Arthur
Krehbiel, July 8, 1934, in Odessa, Wash. He preceded her in death
Jan. 1, 1951.
She was a member of Menno Mennonite
Church in Ritzville, Wash. She was an active church worker and
participating in Woman's Mission Society. She sang alto in the church
choir, Lind Women's Glee Club and actively participated in community
and religious endeavors. She enjoyed gardening and making floral
arrangements.
Survivors include: one son, James A.
Krehbiel of Newton; one daughter, Carol Muirhead of Bellingham,
Wash.; one brother, Joe Jantz of Ritzville, Wash.; one sister,
Josephine Stucky of Seattle; six grandchildren; and six
great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by one sister,
Esther Wiens.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.
Friday at Menno Mennonite Church in Ritzville, Wash., with Danekas
Funeral Home in Ritzville in charge of service. Burial will be in the
Menno Mennonite Cemetery in Ritzville.
Friends may call from 1 to 7 p.m.
Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon Friday at Danekas Funeral Home in
Ritzville, Wash.
Memorials have been established with
General Conference Missions in care of Petersen Funeral Home in
Newton.
