Donald G. Cannon
SALINA -- Donald G. Cannon, 67, died
Monday (May 17, 1999) at his residence in Salina.
He was born Aug. 3, 1931, in Matfield
Green to James J. and Mary H. (Bishop) Cannon. He married Dorothy A.
Penner. She preceded him in death in 1995.
He had worked as a salesman for several
different pharmaceutical companies. He also worked for more than 15
years for Tony's Pizza Service in Salina as a supervisor in several
different areas, retiring in 1994. He was a Salina resident for 36
years, moving from Newton.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving
from 1953 to 1954. He was a member of University United Methodist
Church in Salina.
Survivors include: two daughters, Cathy
Jones of Ward, Colo., and Lee Ann Turner of Parkville, Mo.; one
brother, Merle Cannon of Wichita; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m.
Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery in Newton with the Rev. Paul Robbins
officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Ryan Mortuary
in Salina.
